“Shout
for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord
with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know
that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are
his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter
his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord
is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness
continues through all generations.”
Psalm 100
Update:
We have been asking for prayers for the farmers in the
Quallam area for so many years – they have not
had crops in over 3 years due to lack of rainfall, then
last year the grasshoppers ate the harvest. This year
there has been flooding – the Mayor of Quallam
told the Bolls that the floods destroyed over 3000 homes
and one life was taken. The villages that were most
damaged were Bardouga, Sargan, Ouallam Ville (not the
town), Diganasa and Adam Tondi. Teresa will be going
to Ouallam October 16-18 to begin work on the latrine
project that was put on hold due to rainy season. She
will also start work on a project in the village of
Kanda. Please pray for wisdom, safe travels and ministry
that can be done through these disasters. Pray for the
people affected by the recent flooding and for our loving
God to be shown and Christ magnified through their lives.
Wednesday,
November, 1. 2006 – A volunteer team
from Georgia is here this week on a "vision/discovery
trip". Pray for their health, safety and for God
to use them in significant ways to accomplish His purposes
for the Zerma. Pray that they would return home with
a vision for how their church can be involved in reaching
the Zerma.
Thursday,
November 2, 2006 - Pray for safe travel and
quality time with family and friends for the Blacks
while they are in the states.
Friday, November 3, 2006 – ANSWER: Thank
you for praying for James and Ricky, the volunteers
from Tennessee who were here last month. They were able
to share the gospel with a variety of people both in
the city and the bush and brought smiles to the faces
of everyone they met. One man made gave his life to
Christ and many others came closer to knowing Christ
as their Savior.
Saturday,
November 4, 2006 – Praise the Lord for
volunteers! The Bolls will be hosting 3 volunteers from
Clayton Baptist Church, Alabama. Pray that this will
be an encouraging time for the Christians in Tiloa,
Kanda, and Koura Villages. This team will also be constructing
a latrine in the village of Kanda. We pray this will
be a time of encouragement and worship for the women
of these villages.
Sunday,
November 5, 2006 – Pray for the taxi
ministry going on in Niamey. Ask God to draw these men
to Himself, transform their lives and use them to reach
Niamey with the Gospel message.
Monday, November 6, 2006 – It was really
disheartening to see a flood of water where beautiful
yellow ripened peppers had been. But for people accustomed
to dealing with the harsh realities of life including
extreme hunger and death, a few dead pepper plants seemed
not to deter the spirit to grow them again with the
promise of a harvest, money and food. I recently saw
several hundred young plants that will soon be set out.
Thank God for the determination of Zerma people to overcome
extreme adversity. Pray this same determination might
lead them to a faith in God that will bring them to
Christ.
Tuesday,
November 7, 2006 - Fati lives in Kollo-Zongo.
She and Brandy have been studying the Bible together.
Fati asks, “Why is it that whenever I want to
ask about Christianity or Christ my heart fights?"
She has heard the truth and now must count the cost
of following Christ. Ask God to reveal Himself to her
and draw her into a relationship with Him.
Wednesday,
November 8, 2006 - Kimberly is changing the
kid's club times to accommodate the start of school
in Niger. Pray for wisdom in knowing the right time

Thursday,
November 9, 2006 - Praise God for the work
that He is doing in Kollo. This past month, he brought
a Muslim man that has taught Arabic for 20 years to
the church one Sunday morning. The man said that God
told him the night before to come to church, so he began
preparing at midnight. Ask God to continue making Himself
known to those that we have not even touched, and pray
for this man to follow Christ and start preaching the
Bible!
Friday
- November 10, 2006 – ANSWER: The Browns
will be leaving Niger today. Praise the Lord for their
coming and working among the Zerma, for being flexible
and doing many things that were unplanned. We pray the
stories they take back to their church, Clayton Baptist
in Alabama, will encourage that congregation and that
through them God will lead others to join us here in
Niger. This church is planning to partner with the Zerma
team – in hopes that there will be thousands of
Zerma around the throne of Christ.

stand on Christ, the Solid Rock and be a mighty testimony
for Christ!
Tuesday,
November 14, 2006 - ANSWER: Praise God for
"Ay Baaba" (My Father) in Sebeeri, another
village outside of Kollo. This older man has been the
turning point for work in Sebeeri. He has been the main
one to desire studying in this village, and the last
time we read the story of Jesus and Nicodemus, "Ay
Baaba" held the Bible up to his head and heart,
as a sign that he wanted to know and understand all
that is in it. Pray that he would begin to follow Christ
and in turn lead many others to follow as well.

into other areas of Niamey with strength to resist the
schemes of the enemy.

November 19, 2006 - ANSWER: Brandy has been
visiting the people of Kollo-Zongo for several months
and they are finally beginning to study the Bible on
a regular basis. Praise God that He is working in their

to study" and then using them to help each other
understand what we are studying.
Monday,
November 20, 2006 – Pray the Bolls will
be able to go to Ouallam more frequently and begin classes
and construction of the remaining latrines. This project
had to be postponed during the rains. Pray that this
project would benefit the recipients for years to come
– not just the latrine, but the Bible classes
and the health classes that are being taught.
Tuesday,
November 21, 2006 - Ask God to continue to
unite the evangelical churches in Niamey so they will
be a bold witness for Christ, leading with integrity
in relationships and passion for reaching those without
Christ.
Wednesday,
November 22, 2006 - Pray for wisdom for Melissa
Black as she builds relationships with the women in
her neighborhood. These women are becoming more aware
of their need for salvation. Pray that God would use
the kid’s club to draw these women and children

would be unified and make the most of every day that
they have left in Niger.
