Tuesday,
January 2, 2007 - ANSWER: Thank the Lord for
the many wells that Southern Baptists have provided
through the Hunger Relief projects so these people can
have gardens - food to eat as well as to sell.
Wednesday,
January 3, 2007 - Pray for the summer volunteers
that will be coming to work with Kanesa and Brandy.
Ask that God will hand-pick the perfect four, and that
they will be obedient to the calling so that they may
be an incredible addition to the ministry in Kollo and
the surrounding villages.
Thursday, January 4, 2007 - Please
pray for volunteer Adele Bryan as she travels today
and tomorrow. She will be working with Don and Teresa
Bolls for the next three weeks.
Friday,
January 5, 2007 - Pray for the worship and
discipleship materials that Melissa Black has been working
on as this series goes into the first trial run. Pray
for logistics to run smoothly and for God’s hand
to be on this project.
Saturday,
January 6, 2007 - Pray for Don, Teresa and
Adele as they travel to various villages in hopes of
doing health classes, Bible Storying and work on village
latrines.

how He has been moving in our work and that our Regional
leadership has been very encouraging.

January 8, 2007 - Pray for the Sharp Family
as they arrive in Niamey to train to be business facilitators.
Pray for a smooth adjustment to life here and opportunities
to minister to the people.
Tuesday,
January 9, 2007 – Bill Wood will be leaving
today. He has served as financial facilitator since
August during the Ledlow’s absence. Pray for safe
travel home and for a smooth adjustment to life in the
states. We praise God for Bill’s enthusiasm and
commitment to the job he has done here. What a blessing
he has been to everyone!

January 10, 2007 – Pray for the Ledlows
as they arrive back in Niger today. Pray for a smooth
adjustment to life in Niger and a renewed vision and
passion to serve God here with their many gifts and
talents. Pray for Jeremy and Stephanie as they remain
in the states without their parent’s leadership.
Thursday,
January 11, 2007 - Don and Teresa should be
turning the Business and Guest House responsibilities
back to Mark and Deanna Ledlow. Pray for a smooth transition
and clear communication.
Friday,
January 12, 2007 - ANSWER: Praise God for revealing
Himself to Nigerian believers and to others He has called
to serve here. Thank Him for continually making Himself
known and ask that we would stay near the cross always.
Saturday,
January 13, 2007 - Today in Niger hundreds,
if not thousands, of Zerma people will hear God's word
through the radio, audio cassettes, the witness of believers,
and other means. Pray that as the Zerma hear His word,
they will understand it and know that there is one way
that leads to salvation. Pray that His word will enter
not just their ears and minds but their hearts as well.

January 14, 2007 - Pray that we would be effective
communicators of the gospel in a language and culture
that is not our own. Pray that our ability to speak
Zarma and understand the Zerma culture would continue
to increase during 2007.
Monday,
January 15, 2007 - Pray for the Bolls as they
move back to Ouallam after a 6 month absence due to
their stay in Niamey. Pray as they will be "moving"
back and getting back into several projects. This is
gardening season – which is also cold season because
many people will get wet and very cold as they hand
water their gardens. Pray for Don as he should be making
several visits to villages that will be doing lots of
gardening.
Tuesday,
January 16, 2007 – Pray for safe travel
for Alicia Beadle as she will be arriving in Niger today
to teach the Sustar girls for the next 10 weeks. Pray
for close relationships to be formed quickly and for
a smooth adjustment to the Niger. Ask God to replace
any anxiety her family may have with peace while she
is here.
Wednesday,
January 17, 2007 - Pray for Don, Teresa and
Adele as they will be working to get the latrine project
back into full swing. Bible classes and health and hygiene
classes should be taught to over 50 families in the
next few weeks. Each family then has 2 weeks to dig
the 2m X 2m hole and haul sand, gravel and rocks to
their latrine site. Pray that all the work will get
done quickly so Southern Baptists will be able to complete
100 latrines – resulting in over 2000 people who
will have heard the Good News and have the opportunity
to accept Christ.

January 18, 2007 – ANSWER: Praise God
for continued good health for Kanesa and Brandy as well
as for incredible opportunities to share the Gospel
with the Prefet (local government leader in Kollo) and
many other people!
Friday,
January 19, 2007 – Thank you for praying
for Atta and his friends. Atta continues to be a faithful
witness and a growing disciple. His friends are coming
closer to making the decision to follow Christ but have
stated they're just not ready. Pray that God would continue
to draw them to Himself and that they would find the
courage and determination to take that step of faith.
Saturday,
January 20, 2007 – Pray for the village
of Mali as Kanesa and Brandy share with the people there
every Saturday. Please lift up the chief’s family
especially, as many of them are interested in the Gospel.
Ask that they would receive the Living Water and never
thirst again!
Sunday,
January 21, 2007 – Pray for the new revision
of the one story cassette, Creation to Revelation, that
the Blacks will be recording soon. Pray that this will
be an even more powerful tool for bringing God’s
Word to the Zerma.
Monday,
January 22, 2007 - Pray that as we minister
to others, the Holy Spirit would replenish our spiritual
reserves, strengthen our inner spirit, and give us insight
and understanding of God's Word.
Tuesday, January 23, 2007 – ANSWER: Praise
God for His continued work in the villages outside of
Kollo. He is revealing Himself to the people and He
will draw His sheep into the flock. Ask that He would
draw them quickly and mature them quickly as well.
Wednesday,
January 24, 2007 - Pray for Adele Bryan as
she leaves Niger. Thank the Lord for her willingness
to come and work among the Zerma in the Ouallam area.
May her life never be the same.
Thursday,
January 25, 2007 - Pray for the testimonial
cassettes that the Blacks are producing. Pray that they
would be a huge step in helping many Zerma personalize
the Gospel.
Friday,
January 26, 2007 - Continue to pray for Oumou
as she struggles in her new faith and feels rejection
from family, friends, and her husband that she hasn't
seen for almost two years. Ask that Christ be her solid
rock and that she will grow in faith and prayer.
Saturday,
January 27, 2007 - Ask Jesus to raise up leaders
in the church in Goudel and in the group of taxi drivers
who would be willing to move to other locations in the
city to begin outreach groups.
Sunday,
January 28, 2007 – There is a strong
need for spiritual leadership among the Zerma believers.
Pray that God would raise up leaders who are fully committed
to Him, who desire to follow the path of righteousness,
and who will lead others to follow in their steps.
Monday,
January 29, 2007 - The many physical needs
of the Zerma are a reality that we constantly face.
Pray that God would give us wisdom to know how and where
to minister to people who are hungry, poor, and sometimes
suffering from sickness.
Tuesday,
January 30, 2007 - ANSWER: We praise God for
the new projects He is bringing to us and the new doors
these projects will open for the Zerma to hear and follow
the name of Jesus.
Wednesday,
January 31, 2007 - Pray that Jesus would become
everything to the new believers and future believers
in the Goudel church. “For to me, to live
