March 6, 2007 – ANSWER: Thank
you so much for praying for the "Ouallam Sanitation
& Hygiene - Hunger Relief Project". By the
time you read this the project should be close to completion.
Teresa & Don were able to work with 116 different
compounds. They ministered to 622 homes, with a grand
total of 2113 people hearing the Christian version of
the prophets and a very clear gospel presentation, as
well as health, hygiene, safety and nutrition classes.
Pray for those in Ouallam that will actually be receiving
a latrine provided by Hunger Relief Funds. The project
was a partnership between Southern Baptists and families
living in Ouallam. Southern Baptists provided studies
of health and Bible, cement, steel and a mason for the
building of the latrines and each family's participation
was to dig the hole and haul the sand and rocks. Not
all families did their work, but they did hear the study.
Pray for those that did get a latrine - that they will
be reminded of Christian love which is permanently installed
inside their compound.
March
7, 2007 – After one of the "Health
& Bible" studies in Ouallam, one of the officials
in the Government office said, "I have two things
I would like to say about your presentation - First,
thank you so much for helping me to understand about
Mary (mother of Jesus) and Sarah (mother of Isaac).
Also, this study is very good; you need to be doing
village presentations". After the class, we discussed
the possibility of him making the preparations in various
villages - and Teresa teaching the classes to the villages.
Teresa said, "I understand that since this would
be village-wide and working with the government I would
not be allowed to do the religious part..." the
official interrupted and said, "No - you need to
take the truth to the villages about the Bible..."
This was not a hap-hazard statement, but rather because
you have been praying. Pray that people will be continually
convicted to hear the TRUTH.

coming to Niger and working with the missionaries on

partner with the Zerma team in spreading the gospel.

March
29, 2007 – Answer: Your prayers for our
health and safety as we travel are much appreciated.
Last month, Kimberly and another missionary were driving
across the bridge that spans the Niger River. Kimberly
had stopped, waiting for an opening in traffic to get
around a donkey cart, when a dump truck failed to stop
and struck them from behind. The impact crushed the
rear door and knocked them forward about twenty-five
