Thursday,
November 1, 2007 - ANSWER: Praise God that
Melissa’s mom is coming to stay for a month. Pray
that her travels will go well.
Friday, November 2, 2007 - November is the
beginning of cold season. This is a time when the dust
covers the sun, causing it to be colder… which
also brings about many colds and sinus problems. Pray
for health as the people will also begin their gardens.
Saturday, November 3, 2007 – ANSWER:
Praise the Lord that the Bolls and the Cains were able
to be at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary together
- speaking to students, fellowshipping with each other
and other missionaries and those interested in missions.
About 25 publicly surrendered their lives to some type
of missions’ service. Pray for them as they have
many life changes ahead.
Sunday, November 4, 2007 - In the U.S.
Daylight Savings Time ends – but in Niger, it
never changed! Many people don’t even own a watch;
time is not that important, days tend to be alike in
that the toil to just survive is most important. Pray
Hosea 10:12 “. . . it is time to seek the Lord.”
And that many will seek the Lord – and they would
come to know the God of all times!
Monday, November 5, 2007 – ANSWER: Rejoice
with the Bolls as they were blessed to get to return
to California and visit with their son, Matt and his
family. It was a surprise visit for all! The Bolls were
so thankful to be able to say "good-bye”
three times before they return to the field!
Tuesday, November 6, 2007 – Ask God to
reveal “men of peace” to missionaries and
Zerma believers. Pray these men would be used of God
to bring households and villages, towns and cities,
to saving faith in Christ.
Wednesday, November 7, 2007 - Pray that social,
religious, and spiritual barriers to the knowledge of
the Lord will be removed from among the Zerma. Pray
for those who are blinded by Satan, that they would
see the light of the Gospel and desire to leave the
darkness of spiritual ignorance behind.
Thursday, November 8, 2007 - ANSWER - Praise
God for the encouragement that Kanesa received while
she was in the States. Thank God for the new prayer
warriors who have joined Zerma team in many different
churches.
Friday, November 9, 2007 - Pray for the semester
missionaries that will be coming to work with the Zerma
in January. Ask that God would call out people to fill
the rest of the requests, and for them to be obedient
in answering the call.
Saturday, November 10, 2007 – Ask God
to give Oua in Kollo continued health during her pregnancy.
Thank you for praying for Marie. She had a baby boy
on October 11. Both baby and mom are doing great.
Sunday, November 11, 2007 - Today is Susie
McFarland’s birthday. Susie is responsible for
the Zerma team’s web site. She is a very important
part of our team – she keeps our web site up to
date so you can keep up with what is happening with
the Zerma team. Thank the Lord for Susie and check out
her work at www.zermateam.org
Monday, November 12, 2007 - Phil will be representing
the International Mission Board at the Northwest Baptist
Convention in Yakima, Washington today through the 14th.
Pray that as he meets pastors and church representatives
from all over the Northwest that there would be many
opportunities to share about the work among the Zerma.
Pray that these churches would gain a vision for how
they can be more involved in missions around the world.
Tuesday, November 13, 2007 - ANSWER –
Kimberly had a great time speaking at the Women’s
Mission Union in South Dakota. It was good time of fellowship
and mutual encouragement. They met at a beautiful camp
in the Black Hills. Several ladies joined the Zerma
Prayer Team.
Wednesday, November 14, 2007 – Pray for
Brandy and Kanesa as they study French. Pray they catch
on quickly and are able to retain all that they learn.
Thursday, November 15, 2007 - Ask God to meet
the needs the Zerma People have for medicine, food,
and clothing. Ask God to provide employment opportunities
for those seeking work, and good harvests for those
who grow their food in fields and gardens.
Friday, November 16, 2007 – ANSWER: Thank
God for the time Brandy had at home with family and
friends. It was time of fellowship and refreshment,
as well as sharing what God is doing in Niger. Ask God
to burden the hearts of those who have heard about for
the Zerma people and move to pray for them regularly.
Saturday, November 17, 2007 - Ask God
to give Kanesa and Brandy direction for these next two
years of ministry among the Zerma people. Pray for them
to have wisdom and for God to pour out His Spirit in
Kollo in ways that aren't even imaginable.
Sunday, November 18, 2007 – Pray for
spiritual leadership among the Zerma. Pray that God
will rise up leaders who know His word, who are burdened
for the lost, and who are bold in sharing the Gospel.
Pray for the men and women of influence among the Zerma,
that they would commit their lives to Christ.
Monday, November 19, 2007 – ANSWER: Praise
God that Melissa is able to stay in Dakar to have the
baby where there is good medical care. Praise Him that
Shad and Ki were able to come early to be with her and
help her and Miriam.
Tuesday, November 20, 2007 – Ask God
to give Zerma believers a desire to serve the leaders
of Niger any way they can.
Wednesday, November 21, 2007 - Pray for Melissa’s
maternal grandfather, whose health is sketchy and who
has yet to make a profession of Faith in Jesus.
Thursday, November 22, 2007 –
ANSWER: Thanksgiving Day. We all have so much to be
thankful for – we serve a Risen Savior who is
very much alive in our hearts, and is calling others
to Him. We are thankful for our freedom – and
we are very thankful to all of you for lifting us up
daily. We love you all… Thank You!!! Happy Thanksgiving.
Friday, November 23, 2007 - Before the Bolls
left for their Stateside, plans were made for Teresa
to work with one of the Government Officials teaching
classes to various villages surrounding Ouallam. Pray
that this will become a reality soon. With garden season
in full swing the scheduling of the classes will be
a challenge as the garden must be watered every day,
as well as the cultivation and hopefully the harvesting.
Saturday, November 24, 2007 - May God raise
up devoted Zerma believers who will become leaders in
every segment of society in Niger.
Sunday, November 25, 2007 - November brings
the end of the harvest. Pray for those in their fields
harvesting the last of the crops. Pray also for THE
harvest - (John 4:34).”… Look at the fields!
THEY are ripe for the harvest.”
Monday, November 26, 2007 - Today is Kanesa
Snow’s birthday. We are all very thankful to have
Kanesa on our team – and excited that she is extending
for 2 more years to serve the Lord here in Niger among
the Zerma people. Pray that Kanesa would have a very
special day today, that the Lord would lift her up and
bless her especially today.
Tuesday, November 27, 2007 - As we are involved
in the harvest, pray Gal. 6:9 “That we not become
weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will
reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Wednesday, November 28, 2007 – Pray for
a resolution to be reached with government officials
concerning land that was purchased in the past for the
Goudel church. Currently we are having trouble securing
the proper documents to show the church owns the property.
Pray the government officials involved to see Christ
in B.S. and Pastor Ama.
Thursday, November 29, 2007 - Many seeds will
be planted this month – in their gardens and hopefully
in the very souls of the Zerma. Pray that as “seeds”
are planted, that the Holy Spirit would show the very
heart of Jesus – and that many would come to know
Him in a very real and personal way.
Friday, November 30, 2007 - Today is Caroline
Cain’s 14th birthday. We have all been blessed
by Caroline – and we join you in praying for her
as she is in the US this year for a time to be with
new friends, Grandparents and be will involved in a
different type of school. She is in the drama class
and will be performing in a play in December. Pray that
today would be a special blessing for her. Pray that
God would continue to work in her life to mold her into
a godly young woman. Pray that she would grow in grace
and wisdom as she seeks to follow the Lord.
