April 1, 2008 – ANSWER: Thank you for
praying for Abdoulah’s daughter-in-law in February.
She and the baby are doing great and they are both out
of the hospital and back home with family.
Wednesday,
April 2, 2008 - Thank you for praying for Phil's
mom, Judy. She is in the hospital in rehab as she continues
to recover from congestive heart failure. Praise God
for the wonderful care she has been given and for her
continuous improvement as she recovers.

April 3, 2008 - In January you prayed for Sani
with an enlarged head. His father was able to find help.
Sani is now better with medication. Please continue
to pray for Sani and the evidently difficult to locate
medication.

April 4, 2008 - Binga has a hand-size scar
on his leg below the knee from years of not healing.
Teresa helped get it healed and he has been a very vocal
supporter of Teresa's health ministry. Pray for Binga
to accept Christ in his life, the real physician.

April 5, 2008 - Please lift up “A”,
who is “H” in K-town. He is a Zerma man
that is living in Ivory Coast and really seeking out
the truth. Pray that his heart will be opened and he
will follow Christ!

April 6, 2008 - Pray for Phil April 6-14 as
he travels to Oregon and Washington to share about the
Zerma People at missions conferences.

April 7, 2008 – Please pray for “L”
as she continues to grow in her faith. She is reading
in various places in God’s Word and has already
read through John and is reading it again.
Tuesday,
April 8, 2008 – ANSWER: Praise God for
the new work he is doing in Abraham, who has taken several
years off from following the LORD.

April 9, 2008 – Ask God to give Nigerien
men and women a vision for becoming entrepreneurs.

April 10, 2008 – Ask God to give Kanesa
and Brandy strength and health through HOT season!
Friday,
April 11, 2008 - Moussa and the 'Niger Peppers'
have hit another problem in production. It seems saved
seed is providing poor to no germination for nursery
size plants to set out. An expensive difficult supply
from another country is not a good long term solution.
Ask God to place His hand on this project and blessing
it with plants that grow and produce an abundant harvest.
Saturday, April 12, 2008 - Pray for Kimberly
as she will be sharing with some women's groups at area
churches and using the Flavors of West Africa prayer
guide.
Sunday,
April 13, 2008 - Pray for Sally, a Zerma woman
who is a believer. Pray that she will see how God can
provide for her needs, spiritually and physically, during
a time that is difficult for her.
Monday,
April 14, 2008 – Pray for many who are
hungry already. Prices are already raised and many people
are without food. Ask God to give the Zerma team wisdom
in handling the neediness.
Tuesday,
April 15, 2008 - Albasa continues to be sick
off and on. He evidently needs help only found in the
capitol, Niamey which is far and difficult for them
to go to. He continues to be a leader at 'church' despite
his young age. Ask God to heal him physically and continue
to mature him in the faith.
Wednesday,
April 16, 2008 – Pray for the churches
in Niger to see it as their role to invest in and multiply
leaders from among their congregations.
Thursday,
April 17, 2008 – ANSWER: Praise God for
sending Brittany and Kelsi to village “S”
to disciple our dad and be bright lights. Pray that
they will continually put on the full armor of God as
they face spiritual warfare.
Friday,
April 18, 2008 - Pray that God will call out
volunteers from those who will hear Phil and Kimberly
share about the work among the Zerma people. Pray that
some will be called out to be prayer warriors for the
Zerma people and the Zerma team.
Saturday,
April 19, 2008 – Pray for “Has.”
the wife of a pastor in Niamey. Her baby is due this
month. Ask God to give her a smooth delivery and to
keep her and her new baby healthy.

April 20, 2008 – Pray for believers in
Niger to make choices to use their skills to serve the
country of Niger in every vocational field.
Monday,
April 21, 2008 – Pray for Ami, a believer
in Niamey. She has incredible influence with so many
people. Ask God to help remember the Bible stories she
and Cindy have studied and for Him to give her a passion
to share the love and hope of Christ with those He brings
into her life.
Tuesday,
April 22, 2008 – Ask God to lead us to
a qualified person who has a passionate vision to lead
the operation of a professional vocational training
school in Niamey.
Wednesday,
April 23, 2008 - Zongo, a faithful Ouallam
believer is slowly loosing her sight. Pray she can keep
enough sight to remain independent at her home.
Thursday, April 24, 2008 – Pray
for “R” the Blacks former house helper in
Niamey. She developed high blood pressure during her
recent pregnancy. At 7 months the doctors had to take
the baby by c-section to save “R”s life.
The baby did not live and “R” has been in
the hospital for a few weeks now. Ask God to comfort
her as she deals with the loss of her baby and to continue
to heal her.

April 25, 2008 – Pray for Shad as he
Harry, Adam and Manny continue to study God’s
Word together. Pray also for Melissa and the women at
the church as they study God’s Word once a week.
Saturday,
April 26, 2008 - Please be in prayer as we
work on details and logistics of a small tree project
that will involve fruit trees and trees grown for the
wood. It has the potential of providing much food and
income. One Mango tree has been known to provide over
the annual average income.
Sunday,
April 27, 2008 – ANSWER: We praise God
for Emily and Lindsey who are living out Jesus to the
people of village “M”. Pray that God would
give them favor and open the hearts of the people there.
Monday,
April 28, 2008 - Sena asked about Baptism in
March. Pray for understanding as he will continue his
seeking for new believer’s baptism.
Tuesday,
April 29, 2008 – Pray that by the end
of this month Shad Black will have his first well dug
and the pumped installed in the village of Se.
Wednesday,
April 30, 2008 - Pray for doors in village
“L” to reopen if it is the LORD'S will.
