would come to understand that obedience is better than
sacrifice.

and struggling with the issue of baptism. He knows he
needs to be obedient to Christ in this, but he fears
it will cause many problems with his family, such as
fights between his children and other children in the
village. He’s told us that if his two friends,
also believers, will be baptized with him he will do
it. Pray for him and his friends to be bold and courageous
in taking this next step of obedience. Pray for his
family and everyone in his village, that they would
follow Christ as well.

use those contacts to bring the Zerma to a saving knowledge
of Christ.

various villages in an AIDS awareness project.

October 12, 2008 – Please lift up a friend
of Brandy and Kanesa’s who is struggling with
anorexia. This is a very strange thing for a Niger lady
to struggle with, and she is already really tiny. Kanesa
has had a lot of opportunities to share with her who
she is in Christ and several Scriptures. Kanesa has
been talking to her about some ways she and Brandy can
hold her accountable, but she hasn't agreed to any of
it yet. She's really struggling, so please ask God to
pull her out of this. Ask that she would be able to

in his large village. Pray for Christian forgiveness
