Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011 – Pray for Phil’s storying groups
and Bible studies. Pray that the men who are coming to these would
learn to love God’s word and seek to understand it better.
Pray for their spiritual growth.
Wednesday,
Feb. 2, 2011- Pray for those believers in Niger who
are seeking a mate. Pray that they would find godly husbands and
wives and that they would seek to be godly men and women themselves.
Thursday,
Feb. 3, 2011- We are glad that Michael, Stacey’s
husband, was able to come for a few weeks to Niger. He went out
to some villages with Phil. He helped with the kids’ clubs
and sang and played the guitar. The kids enjoyed his time here!
Friday,
Feb. 4, 2011- Thank you for your prayers for Caroline
and Caleb as they returned to school in January. Caroline continues
to gain strength and stamina and is enjoying being back at school
with her friends. For her community service for school, she will
be visiting the Cure Hospital on Tuesday afternoons. Pray for her
connection with the children who are at the hospital for orthopedic
surgery. Pray that God will use her experience to give the children
hope and encouragement.
Saturday,
Feb. 5, 2011- Pray for those who have accepted Christ this past
year
but have not yet followed that profession of faith
with baptism. Pray that they would understand the importance of
following Christ’s commands and that they would have courage
in taking this step of obedience in their walk with Him.

Feb. 6, 2011- Pray that Sahel Academy will find a new
network administrator and the necessary staff for the 2011-2012
school year.
Monday,
Feb. 7, 2011- Stacey Frank wishes to thank everyone for
all the prayers during her sickness with malaria and praises the
Lord for complete healing.
Tuesday,
Feb. 8, 2011-Pray for the several hundred Zerma people
in Ouallam and the surrounding area that have heard the Good News
the last few months. Pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to
work in many lives so that they will accept the Truth.
Wednesday,
Feb. 9, 2011- Please pray for Stacey Frank’s
remaining weeks in Niger. Pray that God will use her mightily.
Thursday,
Feb. 10, 2011-Praises for Matt and Dillon’s time
in Ouallam. They were able to travel to many villages to give literature,
cassettes and lots of encouragement. Pray the believers in these
villagers were encouraged, will use the material given and rely
on the Holy Spirit to teach them so that the Gospel spreads to
surrounding villages.
Friday,
Feb. 11, 2011-Long term planning can be a challenge. The Bolls
are
already scheduled to be in several states the next couple
years. Pray they will be able to go to the places where God wants.

Saturday,
Feb. 12, 2011- We are so thankful for Stacey, our 9 month volunteer,
and her skill as a nurse. Friday afternoons, Stacey
and Kimberly are sharing Bible stories with “Amy,” a
believer. “Amy” then helps tell the story to the kids’ club
that meets at her house on Saturday. Several women are coming and
hearing the stories too. Stacey has helped some of the sick babies
and children with her nursing skills and this has opened many doors
among the women.

Feb. 13, 2011- Pray that the Spirit would guide us and
fill us as we encounter lostness everywhere we go. Pray that we
would be bold in sharing the gospel and declaring the hope we have
in Christ.
Monday,
Feb. 14, 2011-Happy Valentine’s Day! Our prayer
today is that God will continue to change our hearts and give each
of us discernment into the hearts of those we minister to.
Tuesday,
Feb. 15, 2011- On leaving Niger, the Bolls will have
a short stay in France. They want to visit and join colleagues
there who are working with West Africans. Pray that contact with
Zerma people can be made for a time of sharing. Pray that hearts
be open to the Truth as it is shared with friends and family.
Wednesday,
Feb. 16, 2011- Pray for the churches in Niger, that
they would be a light in their communities and a place where the
word of God is taught and known, where people are known by their
love for God and their love for each other. Pray that they would
be places of refuge and rest for the persecuted and weary.
Thursday,
Feb. 17, 2011-Latrines at 2 grade schools were finished
last month. Pray that students and teachers alike remember the
health studies and the Gospel presented. Pray they ponder these
things often and come to accept the truth of Christ that was shared
with them. Praise God for this latrine work made possible by mission
minded people in HOPE.
Friday,
Feb. 18, 2011- As Cindy teaches the grade 5/6 class at Sahel
Academy,
ask the Lord to give her clear understanding into
each students’ needs and confidence in teaching them so they
develop a love for learning and discover how to apply the concepts
they learn in their lives.
Saturday,
Feb. 19, 2011- Pray for a new kids’ club that
meets on Saturday mornings. There are many men who have come by
and heard the Bible stories each time we’ve met. Pray that
this group would stay strong and that the Lord would give us boldness
in sharing the Good News.
Sunday,
Feb. 20, 2011-As a young pastor leads the church in Goudel,
give thanks for his passion for people and ask the Lord to continue
to give him courage and vision to lead this young church to multiply
in this city the way that God already has planned.
Monday,
Feb. 21, 2011- In January, a large compound in Ouallam with 5
homes
including 40 people attended the health study and
Bible storying of creation through Christ’s ascension that
goes with building a latrine. Pray that the Holy Spirit causes
those who heard the stories to take the step to accept Christ as
their Savior. Praises for help given to them via HOPE church project
from North Carolina.
Tuesday,
Feb. 22, 2011- Young guys in groups called FADA’s
in the city are gathering daily to share life together. Ask the
Lord to give Ben clear understanding in connecting with these young
men because Jesus already has plans to meet each one of them at
the place of their greatest need – wanting something to believe
in that confirms to them that each of their lives matter in this
world.
Wednesday,
Feb. 23, 2011-Pray for a specific unwed mother in Ouallam. As
Teresa visited her she denied that it was her child, saying
that it was her mother’s (who is also unwed). Pray that the
baby is cared for despite this mother’s evident rejection.
Pray for the children who seem to be the ones hurt the most.
Thursday,
Feb. 24, 2011-Changing where you live and work, saying
good-bye to friends and a lifestyle you have become accustomed
to for 27 years can be a challenging transition. Pray for the Bolls
as they leave Ouallam near the end of this month for their last
stateside assignment before retiring.
Friday,
Feb. 25, 2011-Cold season is a trying time for many Zerma especially
the young, old or weak. Pray for 7 month old Rachida
who lost her mother due to a prolonged illness. Rachida was not
properly fed with her mother’s illness. Pray for Teresa as
she works with the extended family that Rachida might gain both
weight and health.
Saturday,
Feb. 26, 2011-“Work for the night is coming…” (John
9:4) is so very true. Pray for those that have heard the gospel
in many Zerma villages as it seems the night is approaching in
situations concerning safety and security. Pray for missionaries
and Zerma people alike that all seek to follow the guidance of
the Holy Spirit.
Sunday,
Feb. 27, 2011-Pray for Albass who left Ouallam before
Christmas. We have no news of him at present, but his epilepsy
medicine is still being taken to him. Pray for him to remember
the Bible truths he knows and him to be able to teach others.
Monday,
Feb. 28, 2011-Before departing Niger, the Bolls will spend their
last
days in the capitol city -Niamey. Teresa has had requests
for the AIDS and health classes from a couple places in Niamey.
Pray for these requests, time and planning so the classes might
take place and God’s love be shared.
