“I am grateful that God always makes it possible for Christ
to lead us to victory. God also helps us spread the knowledge about
Christ everywhere and this knowledge is like the smell of perfume.” 2
Corinthians 2:14 CEV translation
Tuesday,
Nov. 1, 2011 – Did you know that women in Niger
have the highest birth rate in the world? This means even with
a high mortality rate, there is a large population of Zerma children.
As you see young people today remember to pray for Zerma Team ministry
among children.
Wednesday,
Nov. 2, 2011 – Niger does not have the highest
infant mortality rate in the world but it is one of the highest.
Pray today for Zerma families who have new babies and for many
who have lost their children. As you pray thank God for all our
children and join Don and Teresa in rejoicing over the safe arrival
of their 4th grandchild Skyler Addison born October 11th.
Thursday,
Nov. 3, 2011 – The Songhai and Niamey Urban teams
continue to work with the media team to complete the production
of video segments for use in communicating what is taking place
here in Niger. Please continue to pray that this will be completed
by the end of November.
Friday,
Nov. 4, 2011 – We’re beginning to see evidence
of more people stepping into what God has for them to do. Continue
to pray that each of us will be intentional in learning how to
work together as a body with one purpose.
Saturday,
Nov. 5, 2011 – A church in Hot Springs Village,
Arkansas will host a Mission's Fair today. Pray that the various
events will clearly communicate what God is doing in the world
to draw the lost to him. Some of the events include: mission’s
awareness - meeting missionaries, seeing various displays and tasting
foods from around the world, making others aware of life among
peoples of the world such as the Zerma people. Pray for those attending
and those participating.
Sunday,
Nov. 6, 2011 – Don and Teresa will be sharing during
the morning worship at a Mission's Fair. Pray that they would be
able to share about the work among the Zerma and for God to call
out those he wants to come and minister to the Zerma.
Monday,
Nov. 7, 2011 – Emily has begun studying the book
called “Soul Cravings” with a group of her students
at her house. Pray with us for God to show them where he is at
work not only in this world but in each of their individual lives.
Lord, help Emily see how to lead discussions and even which specific
entries from the book to use that will make a heart connection
with each of these students who are eagerly seeking purpose for
their lives.
Tuesday,
Nov. 8, 2011 – Today is Election Day in the USA.
Let us thank the Lord for the many freedoms we enjoy. Pray for
other countries that do not have the freedom we do. Ask God to
bless the Zerma people in their freedom of elections.
Wednesday,
Nov. 9, 2011 – Pray for the new outreach groups

up leaders among them, and that they would become strong churches.
Thursday,
Nov. 10, 2011 – Pray as our team continues to
build relationship with young men in FADA’s in the city so
that they can discover how their influence can bring change in
this city. Ask the Lord to reveal himself to each of them as we
have weekly conversations.
Friday,
Nov. 11, 2011 – As our urban team works to discover
what different organizations, churches, and businesses are currently
doing in the city, ask God’s Spirit to reveal His wisdom
in how to build healthy relationships with each of these groups
of people. Our vision is for Niamey to become an Oasis of Hope – a
place where people discover true hope for their lives in Jesus.
Saturday,
Nov. 12, 2011 – Lord we ask that you give each
of us, as your followers, courage to obey each word that you give
us and to understand how to influence others in the city to do
the same.
Sunday,
Nov. 13, 2011 –In 1984 the members of Liberty Baptist,
Princeton, Kentucky promised to prayerfully support the Bolls.
They have kept their promise and have gone even farther. Don and
Teresa have been able to visit them several times giving reports
of the work in Niger. Praise the Lord that Liberty still has a
vision. The Bolls will be speaking at their “Mission's Revival" 13-16
November. Pray that this church's vision for missions will overflow
to other churches and people in the community.
Monday,
Nov. 14, 2011 – Recently, Phil gave a Bible to “M”,
a teacher. Pray that as “M” reads it, God would give
him insight and understanding. Pray that the truths of scripture
would penetrate his heart and that God would break down the barriers
of doubt and disbelief.
Tuesday,
Nov. 15, 2011 – Good medical care for Zerma people
is usually far away and the mode of transportation is slow; usually
a donkey cart. This causes a lot of anxiety and suffering for those
that are sick and are seeking medical attention. Don & Teresa
are thankful to have already passed several parts of their medical
exams. They still have several more visits. Praise the Lord they
are in pretty good shape for the shape they are in after 28 years
in Niger!
Wednesday,
Nov. 16, 2011 – Pray with us that God would give
Don and Teresa, Ben and Cindy, and Phil and Kimberly the spirit
of wisdom and revelation; so that they may know Him better. (Ephesians
1:17) We need wisdom to see God’s priorities. The demands
on our time make maintaining a devotional life a challenge.
Thursday,
Nov. 17, 2011 –We praise and thank God for all
of you who partner with us by praying faithfully on our behalf
and for the Zerma people. We ask that you pray for First Baptist
Church Sandersville, Georgia as they make plans to send volunteer
teams to Niger in 2012. Ask God to give them wisdom and direction
as they prepare and plan the details of these trips.
Friday,
Nov. 18, 2011 – Today Sahel Academy, where many
of our children attend school, will rent the local soccer stadium

be a fun time and that no one will be injured. Pray that the believers
there will be strong witnesses.
Saturday,
Nov. 19, 2011 – Christ made it clear that following
him does not give us immunity from tribulation. Pray for the Zerma
believers who are going through trials and tribulations that they
would hold fast to their faith. Pray that God would ease their
burdens and protect them from the schemes of Satan.

Nov. 20, 2011 – The Bolls will be speaking to "Discover
the Joy” Baptist Church today. Pray this newly organized

Lottie Moon Christmas offering and other mission visions, making
the Zerma Team’s work in Niger possible.
Monday,
Nov. 21, 2011- Emily’s semester of English classes
has begun at the University. Pray her example in the classroom
will result in students asking her what compels her to live life
with the passion she does and discover that Jesus is the reason.
Tuesday,
Nov. 22, 2011 – As a team we have begun prayer
walking each week together and continue to believe that strongholds
are being broken down. Continue praying this month for those who
are seeking Jesus to overcome the fear of what others will say
or think and choose to follow Him without reservation and communicate
that decision to us and to others around them.
Wednesday,
Nov. 23, 2011 – Pray for Ami and her husband.
Both are baptized believers, but they chose to have a Mu*lim naming
ceremony for their new baby. Ask God to strengthen their faith
and give them courage to live it out.
Thursday,
Nov. 24, 2011 - Thanksgiving Day as celebrated in the
U.S. is not celebrated among Zerma people. Pray for Zerma people
as they in general do not have much physical wealth or even an
abundance of food. The Bolls will be spending time with family
during the Thanksgiving week. They are very thankful to be able
to spend extra time this year as much of Teresa's family will be
together.
Friday,
Nov. 25, 2011 – Hassi, the pastor’s wife at
a church we are working with, has invited four other local churches
to join her church and work together to teach the Christmas Story
to the children. In addition to the story children are to memorize
certain verses and create a skit about the Christmas story. There
will be a completion on Dec. 9 & 16 where all five groups will
come together. Pray that this will be a fun; encouraging time and
the children will be diligent in memorizing their verses.
Saturday,
Nov. 26, 2011 – Today is Kanesa Snow’s birthday.

Kanesa to have physical stamina to maintain her schedule and for
soul mates that share her passion for God.

for restful sleep. Malaria season is still here and with numerous
power outages it can be difficult to sleep at night.

continue to fill in for Mark and Deanna at the business office
and guesthouse. Thank you for your prayers on our behalf! They
do make a difference.
Tuesday,
Nov. 29, 2011 – Ask God to give Emily, Cindy and
Ben an improved ability to speak in French in the city and for
the perseverance to press forward and immerse ourselves in settings
where only French is spoken in order to continue to make progress.
We continue to see how important it is that we speak French well
as we work in Niamey.
Wednesday,
Nov. 30, 2011 - Today is Caroline’s 18th birthday.
We rejoice in all that God is doing in her life. Pray for her as
she has heavy course loads to complete before graduation in May.
Pray that she will clearly hear the Father’s voice and walk
in the plans he has for her life.
Being strengthened together by the power of His might!
