“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name
under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” Acts
4:12
Saturday,
October 1, 2011 – As you begin to see and feel
the changes that fall weather brings please remember that in Niger
the weather also changes somewhat. Now that rainy season (what
little rain there was) is mostly over it warms up somewhat and
many farmers will be in their fields harvesting their millet and
sorghum crops. Pray that they will have sufficient foods for their
families. As these "field crops" are finishing up the
dry season gardening begins. Mostly women but also some men should
begin their little nurseries of lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes and
potatoes in their grow beds. Pray that these dry season farmers
will be able to get needed seeds and that the seeds would produce.

lives here in the city because the weapons you give us have divine
power to do this. This month, pray for those who are seeking Jesus
to overcome the fear of what others will say or think and choose
to follow Him without reservation and communicate that decision
to us and to others around them.
Sunday,
October 16, 2011 – Pray for us to have wisdom and
discernment during this time of year before the millet harvest.
The rains were not good this year and people are running low on
food. We are faced with an overwhelming number of needs for food,
