“Look and be amazed at what's happening
among the nations! Even if you were told, you would never believe
what's taking place
now.” Habakkuk 1:5
Thursday,
September 1, 2011 – Thank you for your many prayers
for our friends and neighbors this past month during Ramadan. We
know that many of them heard the Gospel. Continue to pray that
they would heed the call of God to trust in Jesus for their salvation.
Friday,
September 2, 2011 – Praise God for the wonderful
kids’ camps this summer. Between 90 and 100 children heard
about God’s plan for their lives, from creation to Jesus’ death
and resurrection. There were definitely times every day during
the Bible story that you could see God at work on the hearts and
minds of these precious children. Thank you for your prayers!
Saturday,
September 3, 2011 – Continue to pray for the children
that come to the weekly Kids’ Clubs. There are many new children
that are attending because of the camps this summer. Pray that
God would draw these families closer to himself and that many would
decide to follow Jesus. Pray every Saturday for the two Kid’s
Club that Kimberly leads. One is in “G” neighborhood
and the other one is in “KK” neighborhood.
Sunday,

among those that participate in the Bible Study.

in the village of “D” that they would stand firm in
their faith and grow in their knowledge of the Savior. In June

and the difficulty encountered in assisting with aging family members
via long distance.

to Mississippi. Pray for the Bolls as they minister to him and
his brothers.
Tuesday,
September 13, 2011 – It's a little odd to see a
man riding atop a camel talking on his cell phone. New technology
over the last several years has presented challenging new possibilities
and many avenues for ministry. Pray for wisdom in best ways to
utilize this new technology to spread the Gospel among the Zerma.
Wednesday,
September 14, 2011 – Don and Teresa seem to be
adjusting to a very different schedule - thank you for your prayers.
In August the Bolls were able to attend a children's camp in Southern

Wednesday,
September 21, 2011 – This is the time of year
when many families struggle as food supplies have run out and crops

very expensive. Pray for those who lack sufficient food, that their
physical needs would be met.
Thursday,
September 22, 2011 – Lord, thank you for the gifts
of each part of your body called the church. Help each of us embrace

in the city are searching for ways to make a living and to have
lives that make a difference. Lord, help us know how to equip these
men with the truth and specific skills that are needed to live
the lives you have intended for them.
Sunday,
September 25, 2011 – Pray for spiritual leadership
among the Zerma believers. Ask God to rise up leaders with a desire
to know Him and who will be bold in sharing their faith. Ask God
to strengthen and teach pastor Amadou and his wife as they lead
the church in Goudel; revealing to him specific teachings from
Acts that this young congregation needs to understand as he works
through the book of Acts with us.

September 26, 2011 – Pray for Phil and Kimberly
as they are filling in for Mark and Deanna Ledlow. Pray that they

go well and that they would have opportunities for rest and renewal.
Tuesday,
September 27, 2011 – As our urban team works to

in how to build healthy relationships with each of these groups
of people in the city.
