2010 has been quite an interesting year with the Health/AIDS awareness
classes. In January the Bolls were able to go out
4 times - then with personal health issues, the local
gardening then rainy
season, and following grain and
field harvest - it has taken a while before classes
resumed.
November 10th we followed
the Traditional King to a village where there was
a meeting with 22+/- village Chiefs of the surrounding
villages. Teresa presented
a "short" demonstration
version of the classes telling the Chiefs
basically what their village would see/hear. Leaving
our cell telephone number
with them, as soon as the big Muslim Holiday was
over - the calls began. Pray for the next few months
as we go and share
not only Health/AIDS awareness,
but the love of the Lord as well.
We
are not only delivering Health literature, but during
the presentation Teresa discusses Moses and the 10
Commandments. Afterward,
we give out many lesson books,
cassettes and booklets. This is combining some of
our work as much literature is being distributed.
Many times classes
are conducted close to a school
- and some school supplies as we have them will also
be delivered as opportunities arise.
