In
Ouallam, we've rented a small building that are using as an
outreach center. It has a small library, with books in Zerma,
French, and English, including a wide assortment of Christian
literature and reference books, and two classrooms.
Through this ministry we can also teach various classes such
as Sewing, Literacy, English as a Second Language, Nutrition
and Public Health, etc. Teresa Bolls leads a weekly kid's
club. We also show Christian films on video cassette, and
audio cassettes are available to listen to or check out.
The classes and books are a way to build bridges and relationships
within the community. They also give Christians a chance to
further their knowledge, it helps provide everyone a chance
to learn new skills, and it serves as an informal place where
seekers can go to find out more about the Christian faith.
Donald and Teresa Bolls also have a "mobile center"
where they take a collection of books and materials on periodic
visits to various villages we're working in, using them as
an aid in teaching and discipling.
