Dr. Ron Braswell performs cataract surgery while Tracy Brewer assists. The procedure involves making a small incision in the eye, removing the cataract, and inserting an implant, or artificial lens. People who came to the clinic barely able to see, had their sight restored.

Teresa Bolls gives eye examination to Zerma Man. The machine Teresa is holding measures the eye and gives the information in an LED readout. Teresa can then match them with a pair of glasses best suited to their needs.

Dr. Braswell checks eyes for infections in the Village of Tiloa. Many eye diseases are easily treatable in the early stages. During this visit they provided antibiotic ointment for eye infections and gave a short talk on basic eye care.
